Pot And Kettle

Here's a story about Oklahomans in office returning copies of the Quran because they're too violent.
>>In a letter to colleagues, state Representative Rex Duncan says "most Oklahomans do not endorse the idea of killing innocent women and children in the name of ideology."<<

Then I guess they don't have Bibles anywhere close.

Yep, Joe, I managed to squeeze out a blog post on that in between errands and sewing. Yes, indeed, here's that little bit you knew had to be there:
The bible he got from the Baptist General Convention, though, is something else entirely. “Mine is proudly on my desk on the Capitol and I don’t think I ever read a part of it that condones the killing of women and children in furtherance of God’s word,” Duncan said. “It’s one of the nicest things I’ve received in my three years in the Legislature.”

Hmmm. Looks like he doesn’t actually read it, doesn’t it?

(sorry for quoting myself. . .copy/paste is easier than typing after visiting possummamma.)
