And it both instances, there were many critics present who were suspicious of the advice. Then the critics thought the motive was more profit driven than medically necessary. Now the critics think the motive is for the government to save money as it prepares to step into a national health insurance plan. I think the skeptics were probably right in both instances. You're better off following the advice of your personal physician than that of someone who doesn't know you or your background.
